Common Questions

Answers, before you get in touch.

The questions that come up most often in first conversations. If yours is not here, ask it directly and you will get a straight answer.

The firm

What does Syntropy Earth actually do?

Two things. The social impact practice designs and runs CSR, health equity and patient access programmes, ending in an impact number you can defend to a board and an assurer. The brand and growth practice covers marketing and management consultancy: brand strategy and full brand plans, launch packs from ideation through sales-force effectiveness, operational improvement, cost and financial models, and agency orchestration.

Is this a consultancy or an agency?

A consultancy. The work produces strategy, programme design and measurement architecture, and where execution is needed it is orchestrated across specialist partners rather than delivered in-house. That keeps the advice independent of who gets the production budget.

Who is behind the firm?

Syntropy Earth is founder-led. Abhijith Magal L spent nine years across two global pharmaceutical multinationals in brand, commercial and health-equity roles before starting the practice. Every engagement is run by him rather than passed to a delivery team.

Where are you based?

Bengaluru, India, working globally. Engagements run remotely with field work on site where the programme requires it.

Fit and scope

We are not a healthcare company. Is this relevant to us?

Yes. The obligations that bring organisations here are CSR mandates, head-office commitments, workforce duty of care and disclosure deadlines, and those sit across heavy industry, FMCG, construction, agriculture and technology. Health is the lens the programme is designed and measured through, not a filter on who the work is for.

We already have a CSR team. What would you add?

Usually design and defensibility rather than delivery capacity. Most internal teams are running real work with no theory of change behind it and no measurement that survives assurance. The engagement builds that layer, and trains someone on your side to own it.

Can you work with our existing implementing partner?

Usually yes, and often that is the better answer. Where a partner is already in place, the design works with them, and a screening standard is applied to check the fit rather than to replace anyone by default.

Do you take on work outside climate and health?

The brand and growth practice does, routinely. Launches, portfolio strategy, operating improvement and agency orchestration have no climate component unless the market itself has one.

Working together

How does an engagement start?

With a conversation about the obligation you are carrying and the date attached to it. If there is a fit, a proposal follows with a fixed figure and a defined scope. If there is not, you will be told so.

How does an engagement run?

Design comes first as a defined piece of work: mapping, system design, programme creation, and the measurement that will carry it. Implementation follows on a retainer and covers partner selection, orchestration, pilot, scaling and impact documentation. You can stop after design and run it internally, and the handover is built for that.

What does it cost?

Fees depend on the number of sites, the depth of field work and the reporting the programme has to satisfy. You get a fixed figure and a defined scope in the proposal. Where budget is tight the scope moves rather than the rate, so what you buy stays worth what you paid.

How long does a design engagement take?

Typically several weeks rather than several months, depending on field-work depth and how many sites are in scope. The timeline is agreed in the proposal and it is built backwards from your reporting date.

What is the Climate Access Stress Test?

CAST is a scored diagnostic that reads where climate is already breaking physical reach, supply chain integrity, workforce availability and demand continuity, across a full climate year. It produces one score and a ranked set of breaks, so a programme targets what fails first. CAVS is the free short version and takes about three minutes.

Is our information kept confidential?

Yes. Engagements run under a mutual non-disclosure agreement, and client work is never discussed or shown elsewhere without written permission.

Where is climate already breaking your access?

CAVS scores exposure across physical reach, supply chain integrity, workforce availability and demand continuity, benchmarked against the FY2024-25 BRSR disclosures of 59 listed Indian companies.

No payment step. You get the score and the ranked breaks.

A budget that needs a programme. A commitment with a date on it. A launch that has to land. Let's talk.

The first conversation is simple: what you are facing, and whether this is the right place to solve it. If it is not, you will be told so, and pointed somewhere better.
